Well there were at least a dozen American funded immigration centers scattered throughout South America that have now been closed. These will regularly visited by Democratic patrons with instructions on how to enter the country illegally and avoid immigration enforcement.. How's that for starters?

Of course, the only people who got shot were the people trying to escape. Historically speaking, East Germans were told the wall existed to keep the fascists out but the killings by border guards largely, perhaps even universally, involved East Germans heading West.
