and in Mississippi the GOP there proves just that:

Elitists have once again shit on the people of Mississippi as articulated in the 6-3 vote which,

"In his dissent, Justice James Maxwell wrote that the majority opinion “confidently and correctly points out” that the Supreme Court cannot amend the state constitution but that “the majority does just that — stepping completely outside of Mississippi law — to employ an interpretation that not only amends but judicially kills Mississippi’s citizen initiative process.”

Whenever Republicans gets caught being corrupt, a mob of them runs out to deflect with their "But both sides .. " big lie.

A non-corrupt court would have just ruled "There are only 4 districts now, instead of 5? Fine. We rule that ballot initiatives only need to gather sigs from the 4 districts that exist now. That's common sense, and it's within the jurisdiction of the court to rule that."

Republicans are now attacking ballot initiatives everywhere, because ballot initiatives often overrule the gerrymandered statehouses and their Republicans majorities (who get the minority of votes). When it comes down to it, Republicans just don't like democracy. They literally think they have the divine right to rule over the peasant majority.

Mussolini would be so proud of them!!!

Republicans are corrupt as the day is long.

So republicans are corrupt for 24 hours? I guess that means that it has been the Democraps who have been corrupt the other 2,190,000 hours the USA has been around!

It seems you need to lie, when facts do not support your far right wing narrative.

Count the number of those in the Nixon, Reagan and now Trump's fellow travelers, and then reduce them from the number of Clinton, Obama and Biden who have been indicted and convicted of wrong doing.

Power tends to corrupt, but you want to give the government more power. Great plan, sparky

There is no such thing as a Far Right narrative. You think John McCain was far right until he sided with you! Our "far right" narrative is really mainstream America! Why do you think millions travel from states away for the chance of just hearing Trump ONCE. No one even bothers crossing the street to hear Joe.

Oh yeah right. The same courts who dismiss getting into the middle of the election never take up prosecuting democrats either, so now you'd have us believe that no charges, no prosecution must mean no crime! :auiqs.jpg:

Whose you? And which part of the Government do you claim the anonymous person you've called sparky wants to give more power to?

Local, state or federal agencies? The Supreme Court? The Congress? The Executive?

It’s quite amusing when politicians get in front of microphones and “speak“ for the people until it’s an issue they oppose. Someone may want to point out that ballot referendums are the people speaking.
