Power in a Capitalist Society

Georgie is one of those armchair Commies who thinks if the current establishment is overthrown he will get A Big Important Government Job n stuff, lording over us peasants just because he uses big words, like 'Proletariat', never mind the historical record showing that the very first dumbasses to get rounded up and shot by the Maos, Lenins, and Stalins are the annoying and no longer useful idiots like himself.
You really need to upgrade your understanding of socialism:

Marx + MMT: Socialism Through a Self-Managed Federal Job Guarantee

"By default, private property denies access to everyone but the owner and others whom they permit. To make — i.e. to produce — a living, the non-owners of capital must enter contracts with the owners, often to sell their labor-time for wages or a salary.

"This is how power becomes concrete under capitalism.

"Owners control people’s wages and benefits, promotions, careers, how workplaces are organized, when and how long working-hours are, what good or service will be produced, and the product itself plus all the profit from sale.

"Less directly, the owners often decide stuff like what workers wear, who they spent time with, whether they can fly home for a parent’s funeral, what food or medicines they ingest, how much their kids see them, or whether a worker can honor her tribal heritage by wearing a traditional tattoo, etc."

For any economic system to serve the people, the people need to be in charge.

Socialism failed in the USSR because too much power was given to a few people in government.

Capitalism is failing today because a very few, very rich people make most of the decisions about what to produce and where to produce it.

The solution is to bring democracy to the workplace where most adults spend half their waking hours.

Damn right, fucking commie.

You can vote with your feet, unlike under communism.

Perhaps America is the wrong country for you.

There used to be a more equitable distribution of the fruits of the labour of American workers - under the New Deal, and under union membership. Since 1980, and especially since Reagan took on the Air Traffic Controllers Union, Americans have been brainwashed by conservatives into thinking that union membership is "communism".

What we've seen since Reagan is that CEO's and executives have received massive raises. Profits have never been higher, and wages, as a percentage of costs, haven't been this low since the Guilded Age. It was the inequality, low wages, and lousy working conditions of the Guilded Age which gave rise to the Anti-Trust legislation, and the union movement which grew out of the Great Depression.

This is allowed higher profits to flow to the top, even as worker GDP increased. Employers said the increased production was due to more advanced equipment so workers weren't really worker harder nor were they entitled to a larger share of the income their production generated.

since Reagan took on the Air Traffic Controllers Union,

Did you see the surprised looks on their faces when he fired those stupid fuckers?

That was AWESOME!!!

Right, Kulak?

And then he recovered and beat the Soviet Union. 30 years later, you still cry.

Trump is self-destructing. He has become Putin’s bitch.

What happened next?

Eastern Europe was freed.

Russia, still a shit-hole.

Capitalism stands democracy on its head by allowing a wealthy few to acquire vast private fortunes at public expense; socialism advances social use rather than private profits.
historical-materialism-superstructure-base-marx-dialectics-graphic.png

"Capitalism arises from relations of private-ownership that allow a wealthy minority to control all the resources, tools, and other things used by a working majority to create wealth.

"Creating the wealth of nations is a big ordeal and — since it takes the better part of nearly everyone’s days to do that — the relations people form to organize this endless group-project become a basis for social power.

"This structural power crystallizes into formal power through institutions, such as the political and legal systems, that turn back to reinforce and stabilize the pattern of social organization that created them in the first place."

Marx + MMT: Socialism Through a Self-Managed Federal Job Guarantee

Socialists believe society can be run by a majority of its people who produce the goods, services, and knowledge, and that majority is also fully capable of deciding how to democratically distribute the wealth of its production.

The dictatorship of capital, on the other hand, controls people's wages, benefits, promotions, careers, and how the collective workplace is organized in order to advance a few private fortunes.

In other words, the nuts and bolts of exploitation.

How exactly have you Socialist/Communist Cocksuckers tweaked Marx just right this time, so that the spectacular failure of the Soviet Union won't be replicated in the USA as soon as you Cocksuckers get control; and

How do you explain why the USA, a purely capitalist society, while not perfect, is surely the greatest and most successful society yet brought forth on this planet?

The one you want to convert to the next Soviet Union.

Tell you what. For the next month, you should not use any of the Social Programs available to you. Here is just part of the list you have to give up.

Electricity
Driving your Car on any public road
Natural Gas to cook or heat with
Internet
TV
Radio
Retail (since it's subsidized)

If your house catches on fire, you must allow your home to burn to the ground

If something happens that you need the Police, you will need to have a sign in the front of your house so they will know that they should not respond for any reason to your location. And you must wear a sign around your neck to that as well.

Trains
Shopping of any kind because the transportation is subsidized.

Your kids must be home schooled by you. Sorry, you can't even send them to a Private schools since they are subsidized as well.

And this is just a partial list. Pretty much, you are going to only be able to sit in your house with the lights off with no outside stimulus at all. You can't even go walk on the sidewalks. Even the Water can't be used.

So, you don't want socialism in anyone's life then you must be ready and able to do without it in your own life. But you don't want that. You only want OTHERS to not have social programs so you can enjoy them yourself and you can feel superior.

Now, do without the social programs for one month. Know this, if you do post back on this in the next month, you failed.
LMAO! You’re an idiot.

After all of the last century of proof that socialism never works and wars that socialism caused we have American retards calling for it.

Unfucking believable.

_______________

You left out that the Armed Forces cannot defend me. The power of Eminent Domain has been around since before this country was formed, and is in the Constitution. Building roads across a country, like England (and the USA)---local government organizing to form public schools, eminent domain, police forces and other similar matters developed along side capitalism in old England as it established a great empire and the USA as it built an even greater nation on the same concepts---started well before your man Marx wrote his Manifesto saying the government should own and control the means of production--and before the damn fool called for "from each according to his ability to each according to his needs"---which is a form a confiscation and theft which has ultimately failed everywhere it has ever been tried....because there is a natural inequality of ability, and also of motivation. (Marx by the way also advocated the sharing of women and common raising of children since they could never know who their fathers were. What horseshit.)

Your Eliz Warren-Barack Obama nonsense about "You didn't build that" fools only the lazy, the stupid and and the jealous and doesn not fool anyone who understands the history of the development of the above methods and concept in conformity with CAPITALISM--which is the source of the great wealth of the USA in which even the poor citizens--the Federal Government Plantation Porch Sitters--are wealthier than average people in Socialist-Communists countries.

You Socialists---and budding Communist, as it always ultimately takes Communism to enforce Socialism---are not only fools but the greatest threat to the greatest country ever established. Get a job, there are plenty out there.

You ran from my questions and launched off into the Warren-Obama Screed like a freshman Sociology student in a rotting Northern city college. Fuck you.

First off, learn how to use the quote system in here. Otherwise, it looks like a blank message. Secondly, your post definitely shows that you lost this argument big time. Your opinion is worthless.
