????Maybe they are outraged that Trump is trying to prevent the mass illegal border crossings.
How does that apply to what the Pope said?

All crime? And to think, a convicted felon on his way to hell has ended all crime in DC.
What are the odds?

The pope is excoriating TRUMP! for not helping the poor enough while the Catholic Church, that he heads up, is worth billions. Now, the Church does a lot of charity work, but they couldn't replace some finery and art with lower cost things to help the poor even more? That's what he's upset about, isn't it? The US is running massive deficits and has a very large debt that the Church does not have. We have to make some hard choices or accept an inevitable and severe economic crash in which the poor are going to be hurt much more than they would be by some of these proposals. What does that have anything to with anything? The Pope is not a rich man, nor does he seek money. He is there to lead us down the path of love, human rights, and forgiveness.
In simple words, he is a good man fighting evil
the pope just hates trump????
How does that apply to what the Pope said?
You cannot say that at all. The Pope is a man of God and men of God (especially those voted in as Popes) do not believe in Hate.the pope just hates trump
if the pope was really worried about the poor he would sell off all of his churches silver, gold, jewels and land and give the money to the poor
Again, what teachings exactly? All I want is for Trump to be ousted so he can no longer use his position to hurt, abuse, and destroy (all against God's teachings) Americans.
I am not a person that seeks revenge but I do believe in God's teachings and I do believe in Justice and Trump is destroying all of that.
Trump's Karma will be his downfall.
Really? The pope is excoriating TRUMP! for not helping the poor enough while the Catholic Church, that he heads up, is worth billions. Now, the Church does a lot of charity work, but they couldn't replace some finery and art with lower cost things to help the poor even more? That's what he's upset about, isn't it? What about him?The Pope
Read my answer again. I updated the post itself. I hit "post reply" before I put the information in.What about him?
“Trump is a Test from God” – Pope Leo XIV's Words Stun the World!

Donald Trump Vs. Pope Leo XIV: A Tale of Two Americans
Trump: At odds with Christian values
The Trump administration’s budget is not merely a collection of fiscal policy decisions. It is a statement of national priorities. By targeting the most vulnerable — children, the elderly, the sick and the working poor — this law stands in opposition to all the values Pope Leo XIV champions.
He has repeatedly insisted that “helping the poor is a matter of justice before it is a question of charity.” For the Pope, indifference to the suffering of the marginalized is not just a policy failure — it is a moral one.
In words that Donald Trump would never understand, Leo has stated that “no one is exempted from striving to ensure respect for the dignity of every person, especially the most frail and vulnerable, from the unborn to the elderly, from the sick to the unemployed, citizens and immigrants alike”.
Bottom line is that Pope Leo XIV (an American) is against what Trump is doing. In the video below (as well as on the link above), the Pope says all of this in a "Centrist" way that is not straight up condemnation but is far from saying that Trump is not guilty of going against what God and the Cristian faith teaches us about what we all should be...........for the human rights that each and every one has from the moment we were born whether we are rich and talented or poor and ignorant.
That Trump is acting in a Diabolical way!
This is one more statement from someone who is not a biased person (a man of God), that Trump is taking us down the road to hell.
You're living a fantasy in your own mind spun by your TDS.Imagine how he feels, watching the religion to which he has dedicated his life, sell its soul to a grotesque thug who is essentially the opposite of the Jesus he worships.
A lot of actual Christians are going through that right now.
That's budget. The US is running deficits of trillions of dollars, but it's worth many more trillions. That does not reflect the staggering worth of the Church's wealth, which is estimated at $2.5 TRILLION. The bottom line remains, the Church has a lot of wealth stashed away that it could be using for charity work, so the pope complaining about the US trying to gain some fiscal discipline sounds a bit hypocritical.Really?
- Vatican City State:
.
The independent country, which has a limited annual budget, a deficit of over $90 million in 2023, and receives revenue from services and investments.
Wow, what a statement.Sorry bout that,
1. The Catholics where I am one, vote differently more than half of the Catholics, voted for Trump, less than half of the remaining Catholic people voted for Harris, showing a great division amongst Cathoilcs in America, one side of the Catholics is wrong, while one side seems justified which side shakes out as the JUSTIFIED?
2. Trump or Harris?
3. One side wants to protect America, one side does nothing to protect America.
4. One side wants to end abortions, one side wants to have an abortion up till right before the babies delivered.
5. One side wants to tell the truth, while one side wants to tear down the truth, like it never happened.
6. Seems like a pretty easy choice to me, The Pope is wrong, should just stay in Italy, and hide behind his hundreds of years old wall.

Key word in your reply is "institution". The Pope is not there to be told by the Catholic institution what to do, but to relay the words of God, which has no reference to money. That's budget. The US is running deficits of trillions of dollars, but it's worth many more trillions. That does not reflect the staggering worth of the Church's wealth, which is estimated at $2.5 TRILLION. The bottom line remains, the Church has a lot of wealth stashed away that it could be using for charity work, so the pope complaining about the US trying to gain some fiscal discipline sounds a bit hypocritical.
