VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis says he has thought about when it might be time to "take leave" of his flock.

Francis made the comment during his morning homily Tuesday; the Vatican didn't release the full text.

While I disagree with most of the Pop's social pronouncements I really like that he's trying to do away with all the expensive trappings and pomp of his position. Living in an apartment in the Vatican hotel and eating in the common dining room is great.
 
Doesn't "Pope" mean father? Didn't Jesus say to call no earthly person "father"? How could a person claim to be head of a 'universal' Christian church yet use a term excluded by the focal character of that religion?
 
Good! Maybe they can get a NON Communist in the positon next.
