Well crud, I tried to edit the poll so it read Metropolis, not Metropolitan, but I just managed to make it more confusing. Apparently I'm the only one whose vote registered.

Why don't you just ask everyone where they live?

I live in Virginia Beach, Va.

Searsport, Maine is a town of about 3,000 souls located on the Penobscot Bay.

It is rural, yes.. but in a Maine coastal way.

(Where's?) Waldo Country, Maine had a 2000 census population of 36,280.

It has a total of two stoplights.

Somewhere between D and E... Apparently, we're "growing", but our white and yellow pages combined is still more like a pamphlet. :doubt:

and i dont think we will keep that one now that the I-295 repairs are finished

The benefit of living in a rural area is there aren't too many people.

The downside to living in a rural areas is there aren't too many people.

I like living here.

I also liked living in downtown Boston for many years.

Maybe I just adapt to my surroundings and find good things about wherever I happen to live.

No, strike that, I've lived places that didn't enough redeeming features to make them worthy of my staying.

Queens NY, for example.

Mid-sized city, though it's actually bigger than it feels like. Lots of sprawl, a tiny downtown, and lack of noticeable public transportation keeps it from feeling much like a city, despite its large population.
