In general? Yes, if you are present illegally - then you should be returned to your country of origin.

What I'd also like to see is changes to the current Federal Employement Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) and eVerify system so that employers can:

• (A) Easily check the employability status of individuals PRIOR to employment, and
• (B) Employers be requried to use the improved system, and
• (C) Employers held accountable under the law for "knowingly" hiring illegal aliens.

#1 If you remove the ability be be employed (along witgh access to public services), then that removed one of the major draws for coming to the United States.

#2 The current I-9/eVerify process is weak with to many ways to fudge the systems. As such the "knowingly" part often presents an escape clause for employers. We needs an accurate means of testing prior to hiring and 100% usage removing the "knowingly" loophole.

But by then it’s too late. The illegals have already gotten into this country, and we see how you liberals assault any attempt to capture even the very worst of them.

We need a strong border, which we now have thanks to Trump. Now our focus is on removing the millions that Biden incited to swarm in.

Immigration is good, especially so when the immigrants have proven their worth over a period of time. I'm fine with preventing immigrants from entering the US illegally. It is a different story for those that have been here for decades or came here as children.
