Political Correctness-- What is the REAL agenda behind it?

Interesting how this WWI term thought the 1990's term brings back, in a way, how history repeats itself. Does"PC", mean, amongst other things, NOT telling the complete truth, all with the sole purpose of NOT OFFENDING ANYONE, for one. Steering a political agenda to someone else's advantage. This "P.C. TOOL" has many advantages, some good, a lot of bad.

I means that and much more, doesn't it? This is the point, the P.C. 'agenda' encompasses much more than one first thinks. And seems to be 100% 'Political', as it states, not necessarily 'Right', 'Just' or Fair.

It forces the masses into the 'perfect communist state', as someone said to me once. Relegates everyone to a common, communal, or Communist, or communist-like existence of speech and thought.

When I first came, almost ten years ago, to message boards, I tried for a while to always keep it clean. Then I met the "non-progressives, the non-liberals."

What I dislike most is that they really believe they have a right to say the things they do, but if anyone fights back, they start whining.

I used to try to be civil, now I fight back, and I don't care at all about what is politically correct!

As a matter of real fact, the first and nastiest names I have ever been called were by so-called "Conservative" and Republican, and self-alleging "christian" women....

I call them all "macaroni mom" types now, which is another long story...

But PC is out the window.

And control, I don't want thought control from anyone.

Control is the word for it. Lack of Individualism is another.

Don't let your true feelings show and for god sakes don't say what you really think. If you do, you will likely be branded a racist. Take OL'Hassan for one. I'll bet all kinds of folks had deep reservations abut this guy but wouldn't say anything because he was a Muslim and they were afraid of being branded that nasty, too often used term, racist. Wonder what would have happened had PC not played a roll in this deadly scenario. PC Struck hard and true.

I'm not much for PC. I pretty much say what I think and don't really give a shit what anyone else thinks about it. But thats just me.
