Police Union That Endorsed Trump Condemns Jan 6 Pardons—'Dangerous Message'

They endorsed him knowing full well he was going to do this.

They probably thought he would vet many before the releases, but the net was thrown too wide by the Biden DOJ and it was easier and more of an expression of his disdain over the whole over prosecution to just pardon them all, with a few exceptions.

To be fair, the FOoP also was pissed at many local governments over the passes given to the Floyd riots and subsequent lefty violence, so at least they are being consistent.

hey dumbass if they dont hire someone who knows how the mail flows how is someone like you going to run it?...and yes they will make less then me until they try and do the job....

USPS privatization again under consideration, Trump says

“A privatized Postal Service would have a substantially lower cost structure, be able to adapt to changing customer needs and make business decisions free from political interference, and have access to private capital markets to fund operational improvements without burdening taxpayers,” the White House said in its 2018 proposal. “The private operation would be incentivized to innovate and improve services to Americans in every community.”

It suggested a privatized mailing entity would be able to reduce services, raise rates and offer less generous pay and benefits to its employees.

I love it already!

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who next year is set to take over the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that oversees USPS, recently told DeJoy he should stop hiring government employees and instead contract out new staff. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., who chairs the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, told DeJoy last week that there could be some major reforms coming in the Trump administration and those may or may not be advantageous to the Postal Service.

Police Union That Endorsed Trump Condemns Jan 6 Pardons—'Dangerous Message'

The largest police union in the U.S. has condemned President Donald Trump for his sweeping pardons of those involved in the January 6 Capitol riot in 2021.

The Fraternal Order of Police, which endorsed Trump in the last three general elections, issued a joint statement with the International Association of Chiefs of Police denouncing the "dangerous message" that pardoning those convicted of assaulting officers sends.

The people who supported him have turned on him. Two years is all you MAGAS are going to get.

How do they feel about Leonard Peltier?

Fair enough. And Trump himself says their sentences were "ridiculous and excessive."

They should each sue for $1 million. Trump can settle with them for $500,000 each. This is to say sorry for ordering them to do something that landed them in jail.
He ordered no one. The narrative you push has crumbled. It is almost over.

IMHO pardoning offenders convicted of crimes against LEO...doesn't seem like a wise move.

Running thru the halls of Congress knock stuff over is one thing punching a copper is another.

Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee does not oversee the post office....the Postal Regulatory Commission and the Board Of Governors and the Office Of The Inspector General of the Postal Service are the ones who oversee it....the Postal Inspectors are the cops.... not even your idle trump can tell them what to do....

JFC. You keyboard warriors don't know how hard the people working in our rural PO work. On a Sun. before X-Mas, Amazon dropped 2,000 packages to be delivered. The PO has one person to deliver mail and one to deliver packages. Both were working from 8AM to 9PM for days. My carrier is an angel.

Beating a cop with a fire extinguisher? How about that?
How about killing them like in Portland? Was anyone even charged with murder? You people do not have a leg to stand on. What about time served? 4 years is a long time.

TIME WASTER IQ-2.0
One of our resident low IQs cannot see that the Police Union is effectively forced to make such a statement .

On what possible grounds would they have dared to support General Sir Donny's pardon?

For someone in love with yourself , IQ-2.0 , you are inordinately stupid .

And regardless, half the members will still vote GOP.

Over 80 of those charged in the January 6 investigation have ties to the military

Thomas Webster, a Marine Corps veteran and retired New York City Police Department officer, has been indicted on multiple counts, including assaulting a police officer with a large metal flagpole carrying a red U.S. Marine Corps flag attached to it. According to investigators' Statement of Facts, Webster yelled at the officer "You f***ing piece of shit. You f***ing Commie motherf***ers, man," and then lunged towards him with the metal flagpole.
You seem to have affection for the federal law enforcement/security departments and disdain for the state, city and local ones. January 6 was not an insurrection. You will know if there is ever one as we all will.

That was a state crime. This is a Federal crime that Trump pardoned.

.

I live in a small farming town with only one carrier, and during the holiday season, the postmistress doubles delivering packages, and they are both amazing!

This might be the time to remind folks that it used to be considered civilized to give gratuities at Christmas to those who work so hard for you all year long.

Who was arrested for it? And burning down a Federal courthouse, which they did, is a federal crime. Dumbass.
