America - Explained by George Carlin, in about 1 minute

He ain't wrong.

It don't sound right.

But it's the truth.

Carlin was a riot, how did he memorize that entire line and keep it going so smooth is freaking amazing

One of my favorite skits is about airlines

It's time to get on the plane......no, I am getting in the plane, evel Knievel can get on the plane
There is less turbulence in here

I always tell people ............

If I were to believe in any god in the universe..........I'd choose to believe Carlin was god come to us in human form, to warn us of all of our failings. It's billed as "comedy". But is it? All the years I've listened to him........it's all warnings. Nothing funny was ever said.

Just like stupid humans.............laughing at their own demise when faced with it.

he's not funny in that sense as logical like a philosopher about everyday things we miss, he does not and points them out

that is where the comedy lies

Carlin......put your seat back forward.......well.......I don't bend that way, if I did I'd be in porno!

Carlin.......in the event of a sudden landing.........cornfield!

Carlin was smart and really worked hard on his craft clearly as he rolled out his act with accuracy.

As he became older his act just became a hate-fest. Perhaps in some ways it was a relief valve for others, but some of his stuff was just dark and absent any warm comedy.

Apparently he was always a nice, professional guy off the stage (at least with casual people) but man he went down a bottomless pit.
