What you should understand is an American police state could not happen suddenly because our population has been conditioned to resist it -- if we can see it coming. But the way it unquestionably is happening is by incremental stages, such as the increasing frequency of these SWAT raids and the gradual militarization of our police agencies.

The American police state will not be announced nor will it arrive with a parade and a flourish. One day we will wake up and it will be here -- and as real as it gets.

Zero.

They'll settle out of Court with a non-disclosure agreement and all will be forgiven.

The Cops? They'll be put on the Rubber Gun squad shuffling papers for a couple years until it's all over and then they'll be back on the street or at another LE Department.

It's part of what I call the 'militarization' of the Police.

They like to act like they're all 'badass' and tough and mean and gonna-kick-your-ass when the truth is.... They can because they're set up to win one-on-one battles with night sticks, tasers, guns, mace and usually.... A half dozen of their buddies to hold you down. And even if you do slap one silly, they'll call their buddies and get twenty cars with thirty Cops to chase you down. Hear about the deal in Cleveland?

Even off-duty Cops are punks and bullies. And so are RETIRED Cops. Just as bad ESPECIALLY if they retire in their old jurisdiction/City/County
