Man charged after Mississippi 10-year-old killed in ATV crash

You do not have the right to put your hands on me.
True, but that does not confer a right to kill. If you put your hands on me, without more, you might be guilty of a crime. It's battery. You could be arrested and tried for that crime. I would not have the right to kill you for unarmed touching.

This is something I saw happening starting in the 80s. Black people began assuming a right to commit crimes, including murder. A white guy brushed up against you on the bus. You can draw your gun and shoot him.. Or, push you in front of the bus.

To the stupid OP superdumbnegro, he's not being charged with murder because it's not murder. Leaving the scene does not change an accident into murder. It was an accident. If he left, its known as "leaving the scene of a fatal accident" not murder. If he had no intent on hitting this kid, then it's not murder. Period. Charge him with murder and he will walk scott free.

I've been riding ATV's since I was 10, go-karts since 7 or 8. You're not supposed to ride them on the road. The guy was only charged because he had pot and left. If he had been sober and stayed, he would have walked.

If he has a good defense attorney he will probably plea to lesser charges as any good defense attorney would point out that the kid wouldn't have been hit had the kid not been riding where he shouldn't have been. Remember, to be found 100% not at fault, you must be doing things 100% right, and riding an ATV on the road, which is against the law, negates a hell of a lot of blame to any car who hits you.
