I'm constantly having to double and triple-check his work before I purchase. A couple other of the Boss' white buddies who are "Application engineers" are fond of handing me incomplete work. So, in addition to doing purchasing, I'm having to do quality assurance and engineering work. (Which I'm not qualified to do.)

Nepo in Hollywood for example can lead to financial downfall. Will Smith for example, got his son a role alongside with him. The movie bombed. In fact nepo is rampant in Hollywood. City government too is notorious for doing this.

I don't believe any father is stupid enough to use his piloting skill just to get a job for his son as a pilot without qualifications. I can't say the same about DEI though. DEI within non critical roles, such as no endangerment to human lives, will continue regardless. The only way to find out whether DEI got that employee the job is when the employee screws up constantly. You can argue that there are no DEI hiring in critical roles but the damaged has been done. See a black pilot, engineer, executive, or doctor, probably a DEI hire. See lots of blacks in elite universities and less Asians, probably same conclusion. DEI should never allow to go into affect. Undoing the damaged is far harder than implementing the program.
