Wow! If this is true...Mark has a problem. Executive Privilege is not gonna help.

Who influenced Hutchinson on the other side, hmm? At least four sessions in secret with the sham committee and no released transcripts of what went on.

Come 2023 and members of this sham committee who still remain in Congress should be very worried and can expect to be forced to resign or be removed.

Even if this story is true, it will not lead to a conviction of Meadows for witness tampering. The alleged intermediary will say that Meadows just mentioned that Cassidy was going to testify, so the intermediary wanted to congratulate Cassidy on being honest and encourage her to keep doing so. He or she will never admit that Meadows conspired with them to tamper with a witness. Why would they?

Not that anything we've seen so far would be even close to witness tampering. Not that what we have seen is any more credible than Cassidy's story about The Beast. Not that any of the Democrats running that farce (and yes, that includes Liz Cheney) would ever dare to introduce any of this nonsense in an actual court. But regardless, they will need the intermediary, if such a person exists, to finger Meadows. Which they will not.

What they could do is put Meadows through an endless and expensive legal circus in the process of supposedly trying to get a conviction. Which is why it would have been perfectly legitimate for Meadows and others to ask Trump for a blanket pardon. Not that there is any credible evidence that they did so.

Yes, and why do you call in a witness four different times? Because you don't like the answers you got the first three and you want to wear them down.

By then the DOJ will have everything they need to indict. Of course the repubs will kill the committee. Just like trump...truth is not their friend.
