People receiving welfare are complaining they now cannot buy candy and soda with tax money they are given

We should just have food pantries for the food stamp people, where we stock and will redeem for food stamps:

1) milk for the chillen
2) juice concentrate
3) canned veggies and fruit
4) ground beef
5j chicken
6) fish
7) cheese
8) bread
9) tuna and mayo
10) PB&J
11) eggs
12) instant oatmeal and cereal

Anything else, you have to use your own money at regular people’s grocery stores.
They can get it at the regular store. A government warehouse would cost a fortune. Just making the stamps only good for those items is fine.

So
Conservatives suck at infrastructure
No, we just provide useful infrastructure. You idiots provide useless shit like trains that never run, solar farms that don’t produce and windmills that can’t provide enough energy to even make another wind mill.

We provide energy that actually works.

If one wants to purchase NON NECESSARY ITEMS, PAY FOR THEM YOURSELF.

Welfare should be for staple food products. Milk, bread, meat, vegetables, etc.

Not Kit Kat bars and Dr Pepper.

I love the new restrictions.

I feel the same way about red taker states.

Most major nations have managed to build high speed rail
Even third world India has better rail system than we do

There is only one place in the USA where the ridership would support a high speed rail system. That’s the BosWash corridor running from New England to Washington D.C. countries that use passenger rail are densely populated and even then the systems usually run at a loss. Only two HSR runs in the entire world turn a profit. Tokyo to Osaka and Paris to Lyon. Every other run needs massive subsidies from the government.

Maybe they’ll be more likely to seek employment if the government isn’t providing them with a lifetime supply of Skittles and Dr. Pepper.

There’s no reason for that.

We already don’t allow several purchases with EBT: cigarettes, alcohol, lottery tickets.

I fail to see why Skittles should be provided at the expense of tax payers.

They can just cut down a bit on the alcohol and cigarettes - and then they’d have enough to buy plenty of Almond Joy bars. It irks me no end that food stamp recipients have money to go to bars and then complain other people won’t buy them candy.

The entitlement mentality of the welfare class is off the charts.

They say tens of millions were wronged by the government. That’s 20 million minimum. What is $1,776 b divided by 20 million?

Trump is using your money to make himself rich. Tax dollars. You don’t ever care when the rich rip us off but you worry about the poor. Interesting
How is Trump using taxpayer money to make himself rich? You make that claim about a politician who doesn’t take a salary and was already rich when he got into politics. Why aren’t you making that claim about lifelong politicians like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Omar, and Kamala Harris who took the politician salary and emerged as multimillionaires after a few years in office?

I would like to go on record as being AGAINST stealing $242 million in taxpayer money intended for starving children.

Regardless of political affiliation.

If the person who stole $242 million intended for starving children was an outspoken Trump supporter, I would not say….”oh, that person likes Trump….it is ok that they stole $242 million of taxpayer money intended for starving children.”

How is that taking money from the taxpayers? If he forced the IRS to give himself and family an exemption from paying taxes, then you might have a point.
Do you understand how the tax system works?
If he underreported or took unwarranted exemptions, he no longer has to pay for them.

Țhat gift comes from the taxpayers
