WASHINGTON — The Pentagon is deploying the USS Tripoli and thousands of military service members to the Middle East after President Trump vowed Friday to unleash “unparalleled firepower” on the “deranged scumbags” leading Iran.

The deployment of the amphibious assault ship comes as the American military admits it’s currently unable to break Iranian influence over the vital Strait of Hormuz as global oil prices spike.

In other words, Trump and Hegseth are basically reading from the Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Bush Jr. playbook. Wow ... I didn't see THAT coming.

Iran had no Navy or Air Force of any consequence which is why it has not figured .
As for the loss of leadership --- Iran had anticipated this a long time ago and had/has a minimum of four "reserves" per position to cover for precisely what has happened.
Regardless , they see death in terms of martyrdom and ironically their losses simply strengthens their resolve .
