I know someone who has Parkinson's.

He is wondering whether marijuana could help him.

His biggest problems are falling, hallucinations, and slurred speech.

Does anyone have any experience regarding Parkinson's & marijuana?

Can it help?

Can it hurt?

On the Web, I learned that so far most doctors do not recommend that Parkinson's patients use it.
On the Web, I learned that no studies (either positive or negative) been been considered definitive.

Thanks!

With Parkinsons, he shouldn't be smoking anything by himself. The shakes might cause him to drop his bong and cause a catastrophe.

I suppose its worth buying a lid of grass and seeing if it helps. But "be careful" would seem to be the key here.

He'll have the chocolate mint for twenty grams Alex.

Problematic are the gonad-effeminizing effects of cannabis on androgen receptors.

Older folks who hide their drinking from their children conceal their DTs (delirium tremens) as "Parkinson's" whereas the common side effects of marijuana use among older people are more likely to be explained as "Alzheimer's."
