I have had chronic lower back pain the last 5 years
I think I damaged it 5 yrs ago while I was trying to develop a good tennis serve ( I never did )
Then with the rigors of work and some mma classes it’s not good
I have zero structural damage and it’s just tendinitis??
I need the Doc to get me a good PT !!!

Probably a disc problem........the cushions between the discs wear out and the discs slip.
No on tendinitis..sorry.

I know a great Orthopedist here in Jackson even though the physical therapists were pretty damn brutal, far worse the the injury itself, that they were all spot on and I was back on the slopes within a year.
Hossfly in post #5 though, really has an idea you should look at if you really are sure it is not structurally damaged. I assume somebody already did full series of X-Ray and MRI.

Might be a strain to the tendon or muscle

A Five Year Strain?

I've heard of the Seven Year Itch
The PA I saw and they did x-rays
Your right it’s not a strain
I have badly damaged lower lumbar discs in 2 places
I am seeing a PT in 2 weeks

I guess you're "broken down."
Looks like it !! I will bounce back !!
I endured this for 5 yrs and it won’t stop me

Oh yeah, it will stop you.

I've had a bone in my leg for as long as I can remember but I overlook it.
