Cam was pretty wild in the passing game when he first came out of college. It showed in his first Pro-Bowl. No evidence of it now. I guess his OL is blocking pretty well for him. Arizona wasn't covering well. Wasn't jambing them at the line so they ran free all night.

The main reason they lost was it's hard to throw an accurate pass with a dislocated index finger. Carson Palmer kept throwing into double-coverage with no accuracy. This was their bread and butter during the season, but it bit them in the ass because of inaccurate passing. Every pass amounted to a Hail Mary.

Do you think there was a "choke" factor involved? (Carson Palmer)

I think any team would have lost to the Panthers, they played well in all areas. The line held well, Cam was on, the running game was excellent. The defense was clicking and reading plays well. The Special teams also play very well. Tough to see a real flaw today.

I can't see anyone still under rating this Panthers team, this is one of the best all around teams in years.

If the cardinals had a quarterback that could have helped them i think the outcome would have at least been close. One thing Manning might not do that Carson seemed to have a problem. Manning might recognize Denver's uniforms.

One thing that Newton does do is almost force the opponet to have someone spy him on every down. Takes away from pass coverage. But we have seen these types of QBs before and they can be stopped.

yeah this time the broncos will be facing a mobile quarterback so they will really have their work cut out for them.

Not sure how this enters into the discussion. But look at who had the easiest and who had the hardest schedule. the Steelers were a fumble away from playing the patriots. After watching that game I didn't think Denver had a chance to beat the Patriots, but they did. Could happen again.

BTW, winning the superbowl should earn a team a harder schedule then number 25.

yeah i never thought the donkeys had a chance either of winning the way they played such a pitiful game against the steelers.they were flat so i thought no way do they beat the cheats.

if this was in the regular season i would say the donkeys had a chance but like i said,in the superbowl, manning panics and throws pick 6's at the most critical time of the game. it MIGHT be a close, with the broncos improved defense from two years ago that would not surprise me,but they wont win.no way.

I think you are right. Manning will either play too conservative too win or throw the game away, although I hope he wins.

Panthers are the favorite by what a touchdown??
Well, there is a reason why they play the game...
Lol

Carolina had an easy schedule, and very little adversity. And have not played against a d like denvers. Ugly wins, some years back I recall the same type of team winning the big one... Ravens.

Looking back at the Steelers/Broncos game. I am thinking that if Brown had been on the field the outcome would be far different. What that means is that Denver will be playing a hot quarterback that might give them trouble. But then again, he's never been there before and we have seen sure things choke before.

No doubt Carolina is favored, but the pats were all talking trash on how they were going to roll over Denver... The pats were the ones who got their teeth kicked in physically.
I have to say it could not of happen to a better group of cheaters... Lol

dont know why,the guy is an asshole, this is why.
No Peyton Manning,YOU need to stop being an A hole.

things are going exactly the way i wanted them to,the cheats arent going to the superbowl and manning is going to stink it up again.:happy-1:

Ron Riveria was part of the 1985 Bears championship season, and was part of the Lovie Smith run when the Bears went to the Super Bowl, and now he is heading again to the Super Bowl, and will beat Manning and the Broncos!

Cam Newton is a monster of a QB, and that defense is going to enjoy Manning.

I smell a blowout!

I smell a steaming bag of dog shit. Piss on the Panthers and that ass clown Newton.
You need some Huggies

I can share my depends...

Well first off thank you to everyone that has responded...

Now with that written I believe Ron Rivera will have the Panthers ready for this big game. Cam might be nervous but Manning is known as Mr. Choke on the big stage. Unlike his brother Eli the fact is Manning is not the greatest big show QB and his only Super Bowl win came against the Chicago Bears nine years ago... ( Ron Rivera was the DC of that Bears team )

So I believe the Panthers win by three touchdowns and Olsen will be the Super Bowl MVP!

I love Cam! What a happy great personality!
It's not about that!

I did not watch the panther game because by the time I got to see it it was a blowout. But what I would like to see happen in the super bowl, is for th Broncos to use a two quarterback system. I was hoping that would happen against the patriots, that they would put Brock in and let him run. I really think that would be an effective strategy. Because if they don't have a running game and old mr brittle bones is in there they will throw him for 15 and 20 yard loses just like the patriots did, and against Carolina it won't be a question of holding on and let the defense win the game, Carolina will score points.

Cam looks so happy! He's a bit arrogant, but what start/athlete isn't (at least a little!)
He looks like he is having fun all the time!
I have no use for a showboat.
Scoring a touchdown isn't a one-time event.
Act like you've been there before and intend on being there again.....rather than showing up the competition.

That's exactly how my husband feels. He HATES Cam!
Of course I loved the antics and celebrations of Ochocinco and TO - and I was a fan of John McEnroe. We all have our personality faults  .... I do not like how the make the Super Bowl and other big games an "entertainment spectacle" with singing performers and what not. Hate that.

It's funny though.... even though hubby doesn't like the showboating and bragging of players like you, he'll do it to me when we play tennis, and try to get in my head.... he'll even talk in the middle of my shot! But if I do that to him, well....

Cheater.

Can't win with skill....so he tries to piss you off.

That only makes me focus more.

I won't argue with you dear. For the sake of my marriage and my online banter with you, I will become a Denver fan ;)

I don’t care who wins. The Chargers aren't in it.

I'd like to see Peyton win another one is all.
