"Republicans in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Monday voted to keep the word "homosexuality" included in the state's public indecency and obscenity laws, angering top-ranking Democrats including those who introduced legislation to remove the classification from the books. SB 609 would have removed the word "homosexual" or "homosexuality" from obscenity laws. But on a party line vote every Republican, led by Speaker Brian Cutler (photo), elected to abuse, attack, demean, mock, and marginalize the state's LGBTQ community by voting against the bill."

Boo-hoo...who cares if a bunch of pedophile fags are triggered....Maybe they should stop being gay pedos and they won't have to worry about it -- everyone knows homosexuality is obscene and hopefully the GOP will go further and make it illegal again like the good ole days.....that is what freedom and small government is all about...it will also create jobs and stimulate the economy.

If only what happened behind closed doors, stayed behind closed doors..Opening Pandora's box and the queers have gone way to far...

What I find interesting here is why the Libs in the General Assembly think that acts of homosexuality should NOT be considered obscene in stage performances, films and literature?

BTW, Pennsylvania has always been considered a Normative place, even during colonial times. Our men are men, and our broads are glad of it.

Tremendous Pennsylvanians like Tom Mix, James Stewart, Stallone, Joe Frazier, Terry Bradshaw have always been proudly and openly heterosexual.

Guess it depends on what the act of homosexuality is. Is a same sex kiss an act of homosexuality? How about two people of the same sex holding hands like a couple? Let's ask Bill Clinton!

The source is RawStory, so the story is probably complete bullshit.
What makes you feel the story is bullshit?

Are you claiming there was no House bill to remove homosexuality from the books as it pertains to obscenity??

Like this bill right here.......

Or are you claiming it is bullshit that the PA GOP voted against removing it?

If it was CNN, then you would have a case......

If you see something reported on CNN, you can usually assume that however distorted and deceptive the story many be, that at its root, it's based on something that is probably true. With RawStory, you can safely assume that it's bullshit made up ex-nihilo.

Many people have discovered that it is unwise to assume that people are necessarily straight.

As we have seen, some have eventually been revealed as either gay/bisexual.
