The Virginia State Legislature was taken over by the socialist on Tuesday night. Because of the big bloated liberal/socialist dominated federal deep state bureaucracy, those employees live in Virginia. The effect has been devastating for the native Virginians. Now Democratic Party will gerrymander themselves into power for a long time to come. Sad that the state of Washington, Madison, Jefferson, Henry, and Lee...all whom fought against an oppressive central government...are now dominated by the party of big government oppression.
Virginia Democrats win control of both the state House and Senate

Y'know, bush, I think those FF would have fought against a central government that ignored the Constitution and the Courts and nullified traditional institutions to create a cult that resembles the monarchy they broke away from too.

They are rolling over in their graves with what the Democratic Party has done to our country. Pelosi, Cortes, Omar, Waters, Harris, Booker, Sanders, Buddegieg, and the whole fucked up party is a threat to our liberty. The church that Washington attended removed a plaque that mentioned that he went there. Disgusting and disgraceful.

The problem with your logic here is that most of the Fed employees in Va live in one small area close to DC. These people have no impact on the outcome of 90% of the House of Delegates or State Senate races

Could it be that the leading Republicans have turned so corrupt that people are just losing their minds in the process? Is the Carny Side Shows not working as well as they once were? You want this stopped, clean up you your own act and then clean it up. It's like hiring the Boston Strangler to investigate Jack the Ripper and then wondering why so many bodies are being left around.

That area has a large population and the area is not small. People commute. It’s enough to sway the electorate there. Before massive expansion, only Republicans lived in these areas that were once countryside. 10% can have a huge impact on the outcome of a state election.

10% can not have a huge impact on the outcome of a state in non state wide elections. Almost all of the Fed folks live in the same two districts and have no impact on the voting in the rest.

Also, the Repubs having control there is a new thing, first time ever was in 2000.

Your logic fails on multiple fronts

It succeeds on zero fronts.

Democrats flipped 26 seats in House of Delegates over half near Washington DC. Also let’s not forget about liberal federal judges rearranging districts for Democrats.

It succeeds on all fronts. Federal judges helped Democrats by forcing districts to be redrawn to favor Democrats.

Those Bureaucrats can't live in the Maryland side of DC. People are being murdered over chicken sandwiches up there.

Another possibility is that the good Republicans of Virginia are NOT in favor of Trump ass kissers. It would probably be a good idea if the Republicans got the message.
Kentucky, too.
The Blue Wave continues

He's got to blame somebody. It can't be Trump. Trump is going to continue sinking the Republicans like a lead balloon if they don't wise up and realize that the people don't want a shady dealing crook in charge.

Tuesday’s victory extended the Democrats’ winning streak under President Donald Trump.

Suburban voters turned out in big numbers to back Democratic candidates, continuing a trend of once GOP-friendly suburbs turning blue. This is the third election in a row in which Virginia Democrats made significant gains since President Donald Trump was elected.
Democrats promise swift action after win in Virginia

I think you have it backwards, bush. Federal judges prevented gerrymandering in favor of Republicans, which is a voter suppression tactic.
Gerrymandering is not restricted to Republicans, and IMHO should be banned everywhere it exists. It restricts the true voice of the people we tout so loudly, but shun in favor of winning thru chicanery.

Federal judges UNgerrymandered the state

In 2017 Dems got 200,000 more votes and lost the state legislature. That only makes sense if the state was gerrymandered all to hell.

This is what happens when that "advantage" is removed.
