Our Founding Fathers feared this very moment

The Great Reset Democrats are running a candidate that has never won even a state primary, and Mac is going on about Trump?
He's got the TDS bad, brah.

It consumes him. Starting threads like this seems to ease the pressure in his head a little bit, so

..tolerate it because it eases his head pain a little bit? :dunno:

Know that he is a tortured soul.

As we know, many Republicans have had to throw issues and policies aside to take a stand against the orange populist demagogue who has taken control of a once-great party. Of course, they've all been attacked and vilified as RINOs and commies and Marxists and any number of other ignorant labels.

Conservative Judge J Michael Luttig has recently (and no doubt painfully) endorsed Kamala Harris with a five-page letter, below.

The Founders knew what could happen, they feared it, and they all but predicted it. Jefferson's prediction, in the second paragraph, is simply chilling:

His letter of endorsement here:

He was referring to presidential term limits.

If once elected, and at a second of third election outvoted by one or two votes, he will pretend false votes, foul play, hold possession of the reins of government, be supported by the states for voting for him, especially if they are the central ones lying in a compact body themselves and separating their opponents; and they will be aided by one nation of Europe than ever the election of a king of Poland was. Reflect on all the instances in history ancient and modern, of elective monarchies, and say if they do not give foundation for my fears, the Roman emperors, the popes, while they were of any importance, the German emperors till they became hereditary in practice, the kings of Poland, the Days of the Ottoman dependencies. It may be said that if elections are to be attended with these disorders, the seldomer they are renewed the better. But experience shows that the only way to prevent disorder is to render them uninteresting by frequent changes. An incapacity to be elected a second time would have been the only effectual preventative. The power of removing him every fourth year by the vote of the people is a power which will not be exercised. The kind of Poland is removable every day by the Diet, yet he is never removed.

Good grief. The TDS is undeniable.

Hmm, whose word should I trust, Judge Luttig or some miserable crank on an internet message board? Tough one.

And TDS, indeed. Get help for it.

I didn't read anywhere where he said it was a requirement.
It is obviously unprecedented though.
The implication seemed to be that there was something wrong or illegitimate about it but if you people want to be pussy about your own arguments I'm not going to fight you on it. So we're in agreement then there's nothing wrong with Kamala being the democratic nominee for President? :dunno:

As for unprecedented this race is full of them. It's unprecedented to have a convicted felon be nominated and run for President. It's was unprecedented the age of the man who won the Democratic primaries and then unprecedented when he dropped out though that shouldn't be surprising given his age and declining performance.

Donald Trump is proof positive that the electoral college scheme enacted by the founding fathers was a complete failure. Rather than being a deterrent to charlatans, it has enabled them. The electoral college needs to be abolished,
You're not smarter than The Founding Fathers, Commie dumbass.

Argument from authority fallacy.
TN is actually correct. They were referencing term limits. Perhaps your TDS doesn't allow you to see that, and you have to insert Trump in there and totally warp the context of the whole thing for some reason that's probably related to your TDS.

This is TDS folks.
I posted the context of those cherry picked words, to explain what he was ACTUALLY talking about, but im the bad guy.
Why? Because this is what mac wants. He is biased. His hatred overrides his perception of reality.
Its a sickness. This dumb cuck is broken.

This letter is actually very famous because it is why they considered the 22nd amendment years later.
Leave it to a biased person and a internet bitch like mac, to carry his water and fuck up its intent.

Eh, to be fair, he didn't fuck up the intent, somebody did it for him and he just ran with it.

In 2016, he was going on and on about "regressives", referring to the more left-wing branch of the Democrat party.

Today, he shills for the very most extremist left candidate the party has ever run.
