I am not saying he was born outside the US. If he was born in the US to a American Mother and a Kenyan father he falls under the Citizen status in the chart according to the law. Why? Because (obviously) at the time of the Constitution's adoption, there were many, many people...our first 7 presidents included... that were NOT U.S. citizens when they were born...the U.S. wasn't in existance when they were born.

That's why there are two types.

And Citizen and Natural Born Citizen still exists today. Only a natural born can become President. Obama is not a "natural born" citizen because his father was a Kenyan national and a British subject, as was Obama, "at birth." The Obama Campaign describes Barack Obama Sr. as, "a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children," on his website. Obama is a "native-born," 14th Amendment citizen because his mother was an American and he was born in Hawaii. The Obama Campaign describes Barack Obama as a "native-born citizen" on his website.
