I don't need a background in medicine to know that non-whites haven't suddenly become more immune to Covid than white people, or less capable of spreading it. The statistics throughout the epidemic have clearly indicated that the folks worst affected tend to be of African or Asian descent.

I don't need a background in racial issues to understand that a law applied unequally based on race represents a breach in the principle of equal protection under the law.

I don't need a PHD in history to understand that when you treat a nation's majority as second class citizens for a long enough period of time, and make a huge presentation of exalting the group that you promote to the position of first class citizens, you end up with '90's Rwanda.

Well, whether or not you want to wear a mask, there is proof that wearing one can help to slow down the transmission of the virus.

Interestingly enough, in the places where there were protests, there haven't been any spikes in the infection rate. In places that opened up too early like TX, FL and CA, they are seeing spikes in their infection rate.

What is the difference between the 2? At the protests, most people were wearing masks. In places where they started to open up early, there were lots of people who weren't wearing masks. Bottom line? Wear a mask, it helps to stop the transmission of the virus.
