I’m personally of the opinion that not everyone pays taxes. A newborn, for example, pays no taxes. People I consider intelligent pay as little tax as possible. Some may actually pay none, if they’re crafty enough to avoid the net.I know, cat. Just providing me references, used or perused in my answer, simply to prove I have valid reference materials at hand to back up my statements of fact.
Seniors who have been on welfare, Medicaid, food stamps, etc., and never worked enough to pay income tax would remain ineligible to vote.
We pay taxes, with some exceptions. And "we all pay tax" would be just about everyone, except for "indians not taxed". And not all of them either.
Even newborns indirectly pay taxes. It's just that their taxes are paid by their parents.I’m personally of the opinion that not everyone pays taxes. A newborn, for example, pays no taxes. I agree and what is curious is that those who troll accuse others of trolling., The malady is uniquely confined to far-left wingers masquerading as some sort of know-it-all all, holier-than-thou centrist. This is a totally irrelevant and BS answer. IOW, you are trolling. If that is your intent, congrats.
“Indirectly” is not paying taxes. Someone else is paying them.Even newborns indirectly pay taxes. It's just that their taxes are paid by their parents.
Yes. I agree. The votes that mysteriously appear at that time in a white van with windows blacked out, no license plate depending on how far behind their Democrat candidate is behind. My favorite New Democrat voting base is the “3am voter” on election night.. who tend to vote like 90+% Democrat
Obviously, seniors who have paid income tax for 40 years prior to their retirement have more than paid their dues, and they would be exempt.
Yeah, yeah, yeah and Trump signed 144 during his first term. Neener neener neener. Most of Trump's 140 this term were to rescind the stupidity that your vegetable saddled the country with. Stop acting like a petulant third grader and put the country before your party. In 4 years, 162?
Trump has had 140 E/Os in 3 MONTHS!!!!!
You brought up me being “against democracy” is bad. If you take the word literally, absolutely I’m against it, and it’s moral to be so.But why do you believe that you and similar are the sheep and not the lions to me it seems you want to take away rights from others not someone from you
If you take an airplane flight, you're indirectly paying the fuel tax.“Indirectly” is not paying taxes. Someone else is paying them.
If I buy a girl some flowers, she is not “indirectly” paying for them.
Actually many of Trump's EO's, were the rescind a previous EO. Like the tariff rates.Yeah, yeah, yeah and Trump signed 144 during his first term. Neener neener neener. Most of Trump's 140 this term were to rescind the stupidity that your vegetable saddled the country with. Stop acting like a petulant third grader and put the country before your party.
I'm against pure capitalism. Because what the market will bear would mean everybody paying different prices for the same goods and services. You brought up me being “against democracy” is bad. If you take the word literally, absolutely I’m against it, and it’s moral to be so.
Not if someone else bought your ticket. They are paying any taxes. If you take an airplane flight, you're indirectly paying the fuel tax.
And welfare recipients don’t kept voting for Democrats to keep handing out other people’s money? Why would they be exempt? The purpose, I assume, of the proposal is to keep people from voting themselves the keys to the Treasury at the expense of the rest of the country and of the long-term financial stability of our finances. There’s no group that more consistently does this than retirees, so it doesn’t make sense to exempt them.
And welfare recipients don’t kept voting for Democrats to keep handing out other people’s money?
Your disdain for our seniors is expected among socialists, but the seniors HAVE contributed to the coffers for 40 years.
What is your definition of the "dole"?And they’d get 40 years of votes, they only give it up once they go on the dole.
What “dole”? You mean the Medicare program they paid into for 40 years? That’s an earned benefit. Same with SS.The proposal seems clear that such people wouldn’t get to vote, either. For precisely the same reason.
And they’d get 40 years of votes, they only give it up once they go on the dole.
