So you are saying that one third of white democrats have misgivings about voting for Barack Obama because of his race?

And you think that based on this report that "many" who were polled (not one third, mind you) call "them" something?

Interesting fact. Most "Democrats" in northern Florida voted for Bush, twice.

There are thousands of people out there that are Democrats for reasons other than believing in the Democratic philosophy.

But to know this probably requires a little more effort than the person that started this thread is willing to spend.

I have negative view for 90% of the people out there...

More than a third of all white Democrats and independents—voters Obama can't win the White House without—agreed with at least one negative adjective about blacks, according to the survey, and they are significantly less likely to vote for Obama than those who don't have such views.

Actually, ninja baby... I was talking about ALL people, not liberals in particular ... and yes, I think racism's an issue... always has been, and will be in the near future.

But you also presume that all democrats are "liberal"... I also think most people are more to the center.
