Vance seems capable....he may not be the shark that Trump is but nobody is until they can claim that chair behind the desk in the oval office. The biggest concern is being able to discern what everyone's motivations are and their relevance to what they are asking or telling.
And in a city full of lobbyists that isn't always easy. Can Vance do that? Probably....he wont be perfect but nobody is. He needs to surround himself with reliable and especially LOYAL people.
