Nobody considered there to be an ongoing "war" with Iran until they were able to use it as an excuse for starting a REAL war with Iran. Actual issues of concern right now include:

1. Defeating Iran and getting the oil and gas flowing normal.
2. Passing the SAVE Act.
3. Getting DHS funded.
4. Bring gas prices, food prices down.
5. Get deportations of illegals ramped up.
6. Bring this economy back to where it was going before this war was started.

If the GOP does not do most of these things and soon, the repubs are going to take a bath this Fall, then that will be the end of Trump's presidency--- he will spend his last two years tied up in constant obstruction, litigation, and impeachments by the democrats, and this will then be a doorway into their taking back the WH instead of a Vance or Rubio presidency.
