We have a guy at work who says almost daily that he thinks Trump should be killed and it's good that someone killed Charlie Kirk. That kind of trolling hate talk doesnt belong in the workplace. Doesn't matter who youre talking about. And employers have the right to insist on professional behavior and presentation on their private property and to dismiss those who won't comply. We have a right not to be trolled by other people's hatred where we work. People who create a toxic or dangerous environment for others need to go. I have some strong and controversial opinions of my own but I don't share them at work in a room full of people when I'm being paid to do a job.

He's old and has health problems. He's also an excellent worker, helpful, and very kind to most of us. At 72, if he was truly violent I think he'd have a record and they wouldn't even have hired him after his background check. He's only been with us for about 6 months. I know it sounds strange considering his occasional rants that I mentioned, but he's also a real asset to us. He's a very expressive Italian. As I said, I have some strong controversial opinions too, but being a stoic and disciplined German I keep my mouth shut when I know I should.

Yeah, when the government puts pressure, it’s a threat otherwise there is no need for an injunction. That said, Vance shouldn’t say anything the right now we need calm, but if people get fired for being stupid, who really cares? It happens all the time.
