Far more convenient than hauling vegetables around with you for barter.
There are easier things to carry around for barter ... and they've been around for a million years ...

And isn't that what politics is all about? The wealthy are filthy parasites. One and ALL! They don't contribute to society. They feed off it! This video clip speaks about one way in which that is done.

I have one more pertinent video for you. Through parody, it shows how the wealthy think. When Mel Brooks says that he loves his people, switch that in your mind to a wealthy person like Trump saying that he supports America. The video basically shows what the outcome is.
Also, given Trump's attacks on the poor, he apparently doesn't like welfare of any sort. But somehow, corporate welfare is ok. The filthy scum.

I think in this case...My students who are still working on irregular verbs have a better grasp of English than that. Yoar kidding me!
That’s an entirely different discussion. In a capitalist system, wealth generation is necessary for success.
My point is about billionaires buying government protection and benefits. They buy the politicians to get the policies enacted that benefit them. This distorts everything and explains why we have non-stop wars that enormously benefit the billionaires, along with a failed but ridiculously expensive Healthcare system. This is why manufacturing was moved off-shore resulting in great harm to the working class, but greatly enriching billionaires. This is why we’ve had open borders and a huge influx of immigrants who reduce our wages, but greatly enrich billionaires. And on and on….
The ridiculous disparity in income is a consequence of allowing billionaires control of government.
Blaming all wealthy people is absurd. Most have no ability to affect government policies that affect all Americans. The billionaires have this power and they use it.It sounds like the same discussion to me. Neither are billionaires the only ones to blame. Any wealthy person is. Next, our health care system is based on science. In that, it isn't a failure. As for it being ridiculously expensive, I don't know about that. According to Trump, everything is ridiculously expensive. That's why he created DOGE. Because he thinks the cause is inefficiency. But he is wrong. And what he is doing with his tariffs are only going to make things more expensive. Also, consider things like this when it comes to the cost of health care. There is a pharmaceutical company out there that makes a drug called Acthar. It has been around for decades and is used to treat a rare condition. The company that made it raised the price of it by 100,000%! (At least in the U.S.)
You do make a good point with moving manufacturing off shore. For example, the average cost to make a pair of Nike tennis shoes overseas is $18 dollars. To buy them in the U.S. costs around $121 dollars. Seems to me that Nike is making a shitload of profit. It is probably pretty much the same for any product made overseas. Yet Trump is trying to get tax breaks for all those assholes.
Compared to the poor in other countries, they are at least middle class. Almost all have cars, cell phones, computers, big screen TVs, plenty of food. When was the last time you saw a poor person who was skin and bones who wasn’t a junky?Thats the biggest load of excrement. Poor folk are not rich. Quit your lying.
Filing a patent costs $199.00.The wealthy becoming wealthy at the expense of the poor may not be true in every case. Just the vast majority of them. I myself could very well become wealthy by inventing something. But even then, I would need money to patent it and all that. And where would I get the money? Possibly from a wealthy person. And you know how they most likely got their money. So even in such an instance, would I be any different in accepting what is basically blood money?
If you invent something useful, and people want to buy it, whats the problem? Get a loan and sell your product just like every other businessman. Im not seeing an issue here. The wealthy becoming wealthy at the expense of the poor may not be true in every case. Just the vast majority of them. 1. No. It means that if they lose a paycheck, they're fucked.
2. If you are against the poor, what I said still stands. Also, I'm retired. So putting kids through school isn't something I have to do.
3. I doubt if you have ever been homeless. If you had been, you wouldn't be so full of shit.
4. Now you are getting even more full of shit. Go to school? Higher education isn't free in this country. Also, back when I needed a job, there were none. So tell me more asshole about how that was my fault.
I don't believe you. I think you're a bullshit artistI would prefer to imagine how many cigarettes I could buy if I just didn't have to exist so far below the poverty level.
What did he think about treason and autopens ?You're the one who needs to get a life. I never said the national debt was Trump's fault. But he is only making things worse. Take a gander at what this former president had to say.

That is not asking for money it is asking for less thieveryI'm already poor, asshole. I live WAY below the poverty level. But when it comes to the wealthy wanting money, that situation has never stopped them from wanting more. Just look at the tax cuts Trump wants for the wealthy.
The government you love and fully trust never to lie to you, is a thief? That is not asking for money it is asking for less thievery
