This is why manufacturing was moved off-shore resulting in great harm to the working class, but greatly enriching billionaires. As for it being ridiculously expensive, I don't know about that. According to Trump, everything is ridiculously expensive. That's why he created DOGE. Because he thinks the cause is inefficiency. But he is wrong. And what he is doing with his tariffs are only going to make things more expensive. Also, consider things like this when it comes to the cost of health care. There is a pharmaceutical company out there that makes a drug called Acthar. It has been around for decades and is used to treat a rare condition. The company that made it raised the price of it by 100,000%! (At least in the U.S.)

You do make a good point with moving manufacturing off shore. For example, the average cost to make a pair of Nike tennis shoes overseas is $18 dollars. To buy them in the U.S. costs around $121 dollars. Seems to me that Nike is making a shitload of profit. It is probably pretty much the same for any product made overseas. Yet Trump is trying to get tax breaks for all those assholes.

Blaming all wealthy people is absurd. Most have no ability to affect government policies that affect all Americans. The billionaires have this power and they use it.

Yeah there is plenty of corruption and unethical behavior in big business. A lot of it is because government doesn’t properly regulate business, because the billionaires don’t like regulation and they control government.
