Who would ever think we'd see the day when the American government, because this is not just Obama, would support Morsi, the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, but also be pro Syrian so called rebels who are associated with Al Qaeda?

The way the Foreign Relations Committee is set up it is run(chaired) by the minority party, so repubs control the scope of funding and the recognition or non recognition of a govt. or nation, and the actions taken by those in power. Egypt's military clearly violated the 1962 law that was written into the effects of foreign aid to other nations. SO far as we know the MB did not break any laws . McCain and Graham consider them to be moderates.

With all due respect the OP's issue is not about foreign aid in general.

Obama et al had not a lick of a problem propping up Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood with millions of dollars in foreign aid.

Morsi was Obama's man. He sacrificed Mubarak a true ally of the USA to set up Morsi and the Islamic radicals of the MB.

While I have no doubt he is pro muslim brotherhood, why are we objecting to him not sending our money to Egypt?

They shouldn't be getting our money. Who cares what his motivation is as long as he is actually doing something that's good for us
