I don't agree with it on either side. Texas just gerrymandered and redistricted after the 2020 census to accommodate for population changes, as with all States....once after the census every ten years.

What Texas is doing is gerrymandering AGAIN mid census, which has never been done by any state in the united states since our creation as a nation....with the purpose of redrawing the lines they JUST CREATED after the ten year census, so that it would put Republicans in 5 more House seats.....and 5 less seats representing the Democrats in their state. That is the SOLE PURPOSE.... to cheat.

What we are arguing is one party now Progressive heading toward Communism and the other closer to right wing Democrats of post-World War 2 United States now with the inclusion of most groups that have struggled. Any conservatism from that is state/local or regional. For your views we are leftward. It is just how much we are and when it gets to its final position.

Where in the constitution is gerrymandering even mentioned?

That isn’t the discussion, the discussion is whether it is Constitutional or not and there is nothing in the Constitution that says you can’t realign districts.

Should there be laws to stop gerrymandering, but that is an issue for Congress and they use it as a wedge issue. So it never gets done. Personally, we need a third party to stop the Republicans and Democrats from abusing their stranglehold on America.
