My uncle is an electrician who pays about 25% in income taxes.

Mitt Romney pays 13%, because our laws favor rich people. They are the entitled class. They cost us hundreds of billions of dollars a year and don't create jobs here anymore, but still we give them breaks that are not given my uncle or myself or YOU for that matter.

The wonder of America is that right-wingers think it's the people on Food Stamps who are costing us all the most. But they cost us not that much. Cutting Food Stamps by $5 billion is stupid, particularly when House Republicans then turnaround and ask for $500 billion more in Corporate Welfare to their friends in the military industrial complex, another entitled group.

As long as a right-winger thinks that we can cut things for poor people and seniors, and take away teacher pensions, and that that will somehow solve our problems, we'll stay in the mess we're in.

The only solution is to kick Republicans out of office and end the Corporate Welfare state as we know it, which is where much of the remainder of our deficit is right now.

Obama wants to scale back our military spending to pre-9/11 levels. That would shave $250 billion from our yearly deficits, but Republicans want it increased, and they wonder why Harry Reid kills every moronic bill they send him, which only includes tax cuts for the rich, more military spending, and gramma and single moms will pay for everything!
