Ok. I get the fact that the defendant is presumed to be innocent in the eyes of the law. That’s as it ought to be.
Maybe presumed innocent in the mechanics of jurisprudence, but let's face facts: our legal system exists to feed itself not seek justice. Both in the Tyler Robinson case and now this Cole Allen, we have two examples where an individual clearly committed a heinous crime, we have the proof, we all know who did what, there is no doubt, so why are these people still on this Earth? Why will it now take many years of endless litigation and procedure costing millions of dollars just to arrive at the sole conclusion everyone knows both these cases will end up at? I mean, other than to put millions of dollars in lawyers and judge's pockets just as health insurance companies interject themselves to collect millions of dollars denying people healthcare while the doctors and hospitals get rich?
THERE IS NOT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that Cole Tomas Allen intended to kill as many of the Trump Cabinet, the heads of our government as he could with the shotgun, firearms and knives he carried as possible before being killed himself. There is no more heinous crime possible than unless if he had succeeded. This is 1000X more heinous than anyone on J6 was ever accused. There, a bunch of disorganized idiots wandered around taking selfies while one guy carried a few zip ties and some boob (we never found out who) erected some useless toy "gallows" outside that you couldn't hang a cat with.
END OF STORY. Why is Allen still alive? This guy deserves no compassion, just execute the guy and move on. He has a bed, a bathroom, food and water, that is all he needs. It would be funny now if he commits suicide after this idiot judge worried that he needs a window.
I'm tired of seeing millions wasted time and again on useless and pointless deliberation and adjudication--- the guy is guilty, he has admitted it, he's on movie reels trying to assassinate our government and about 30 secret service were there to directly witness it and stop him,
and he will be no less guilty after years of meticulous discovery and arguing over minutiae.
Cole Allen, Tyler Robinson, rights, schmights, these are two of the most despicable people on the planet, they cannot be rehabilitated, they cannot be released, both are a risk to themselves and others, there is absolutely no value in keeping either one alive yet one more day. Seeing the swift justice against such monsters might actually dissuade the next guy from trying a similar crime. Instead, we will get Bill Cosby and OJ Simpson 2.0 once again but on steroids.
