I suspects it's because Obama lied on his college applications. He passed himself off as being born in Kenya (how exotic)...that info even appeared on his now changed Author Biography.

In reality, he was born in Hawaii. So, it's to hide his lie that got him special treatment.

It's just the other way around. He was born in Kenya and passed himself off as being born in Hawaii.

There was an eye witness that said she was there when he was born in Kenya, and she never had any reason to lie, his grandmother. Everything else we've ever seen as purported evidence that he was born in Hawaii has been debunked as pathetic, two bit, Adobe Illustrator forgeries or obvious altered documents. Also his selective service card is forged, and his social security number is stolen. He was adopted by Lolo Soetoro and his named was changed to Barry Soetoro. He was raised a muslim in Indonesia. There is not one single shred of evidence that he ever gave up his Indonesian citizenship or legally changed his name back to barack obama. There is not one single shred of evidence that his parents were ever married. These are not unsubstantiated accusations, they are all established facts. obama is a fraud and belongs in prison.
