What is there to comment? the obvious: geography of Texas when compared to Maryland and every other state is on a whole different level. That means that most everything Texas does is on a whole different level; including, gerrymandering. Texas was at one time its own Republic (look it up).

Back to gerrymandering, the reality is whether on a large scale or small scale you are not against gerrymandering except for when you are on the losing side of it.
Whoever wins the elections and holds the pen gets to draw the districts. You know that. If the pain of gerrymandering is so bad for for you whe you are on the losing side, perhaps you need to take a more honest approach and fight to abolish gerrymandering altogether. Otherwise, you look intellectually foolish to only complain about it when the opposing party uses it; large scale or or small scale.

All Democrats are against gerrymandering. We even passed a bill in the House in 2022 to end gerrymandering nationwide. Republicans in the Senate killed it, of course.
