Before I got into the music biz, I was an "institutional and corporate change" consultant. Basically a process person - a troubleshooter. They call people like me in when they themselves can't figure out what's going on, all they know is they have a 'culture' problem and it needs to be fixed somehow.

So the first thing we do, is we look at the 'current' culture, and try to understand what management is complaining about. And then we try to understand the wish list, where they 'want' to be and why. And then we do the road map. And that's when the fun begins. Typically 60 days for analysis, 30 days for the road map, and 4 to 6 years for the fix.

AS a parent, I had to get hip to the psychology and the reality of sexual predators when my daughter was a mere three years old, and we had to take her to day care for a while. This is very concerning to parents, and if it's not, they're not very good parents.
