I agree that if they had taken the lives of civilians in their initial attack it would have been far more barbaric and the response far more appropriate.Are you proud your government did that to civilians, yet Japan attacked a military base and killed far fewer.
there are some situations where that is the appropriate approach, but to pretend it is a case of being right/wrong is misleading as in the minds of many it is sometimes a matter of necessity due to enough is enough, i.e. dispense with it and be done or expect more of the same.Does might make right in your little mind?
