NYC biz leaders left shaking over prospect of Zohran Mamdani mayoral win: ‘It would be disastrous

I know how many died..not that most people gave a shit then or now.

It was social engineering on the greatest scale ever attempted....and it was good for China..if you look at things that way.
I'm sure from China's perspective it's the price they had to pay..to no longer spread its legs for Europe and the USA.

History is made by monsters Ropey---both large and small.

Our Native population would agree, I'm sure....absent the few millions who fell victim to OUR social engineering.
You're just like all philosophers.

They can so easily discount the deaths that communism brings.

It's a sickness and there's a lot of murdering in the history of humanity.

But you discount those deaths attributed to communism. Comrade.

no bacon no alcohol ...............no nothing in other words........LOL

So they would use the people-of-NY’s money to operate stores where the people-of-NY could buy groceries? liberals always want more government control.

“Frightened movers and shakers said that a Mayor Mamdani would be “disastrous” for New York City — with some loath to speak out publicly for fear of ticking off progressives and galvanizing the Queens assemblyman’s lefty, anti-business base.”

Not as disastrous as communist Trump's disastrous ******* tariffs.

Welp, turns out he’s more of a leftist fruitcake than a Muslim.

LOL! Not a Communist..at all.

I discount all of history's deaths...to some degree....they are, after all, dead.
This sickness you decry...it's called the human condition.
You want to change it..then advocate NOT doing the same old shit~

Tell me...how do you think history will view Gaza...a hundred years from now?

A footnote..a whole chapter?

Maybe viewing in the same light as the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand?

Do you care, really?

I tell ya fer free..I don't~

I enjoyed living there. Grew up in the Bronx, lived Manhattan in the 1980’s and Queens in the 90’s

Had fun favorite restaurants on First Avenue, all gone now

Steve Ross must have seen this coming and that’s why he left for West Palm

I wish everyone well who still lives or works there

I too grew up in NYC, 1940's 1970's when I left because I saw it going to the dogs.

And now, it's all about the free shit a rope-a-dope offers nitwits.

I don’t agree with this. NY folks get what they deserved.
The problem is NYC doesn’t exist in a bubble. When the socialist sewer backs up, it’s going to flood beyond NYC.
