One thing that always strikes me as odd is that so many people place so much trust on a media outlet who prints some story by saying "we have 9 secret sources close to the investigation who have confirmed"....yada, yada, yada. So, every time I see articles like the ones flying around today where it says somebody has snitched off what was actually said in the courtroom to a FISA judge I must wonder who is really so limited as to believe it when they hide their sources. Of course I believe in protecting sources, but when the security of this still free country is at stake, seems to me they should adopt a higher standard with a higher degree of integrity. Just because you perceive the other guys as liars , crooks and cheats does nothing to justify you to stooping to their level. Just my old opinion, I might be wrong.

Does anybody know if they have audible recordings or court reporters present for FISA hearings or presentations to the judge? The oral guarantees made by the lawyers presenting the application would be critical to what actually happened if it not fully spelled out in the application and supporting affidavits. Be nice to know since Nunez is making a motion to publish under the FISA court rules. I would think that the DOJ lawyers would be (spitting bricks) to keep any such records from getting out in public. Actually, if any such statements were not true that could set any such lawyer up for pretty devastating lawsuits. Yes, I know they have sovereign immunity but if they were caught lying, that is not a part of their oath or job, so they might lose that protection. Just be nice to know so we can be more informed.
