Well, there are the GQP politicians, politicos and pundits for whom everything is a calculation. They jumped on the train when it was beneficial for them professionally, and they played all the games, advanced all the lies and covered for all the behaviors. You can hear the gears grinding now, though. They have some tough decisions to make, the cowards.

The regular, street level rubes? They'll do what they always do, and that's follow the talking points of MAGA media. Not instantaneously, but shortly thereafter, all always. The cracks are beginning to show as they decide whether De Santis has the chops to be their next deity, and meantime they're staying up to date on all the generic GQP talking points.
