Not only should we not have more socialism in our US government we should reduce the current socialist reforms.

What is "regular government". That statement and your post show how absolutely stupid you are. Unbelievable!
Where can we find one of these libertarian states that you advocate for to judge it's performance?

Most of the world figured out long ago, that it is almost impossible to run health care as a capitalist, for profit, industry.
Because no one can trust a "for profit" doctor.

The medical industry figured out long ago that it can get MUCH RICHER off the people by having "health insurance" as a way to make healthy people pay for the exorbitant fees they charge.

Kill medical insurance, and watch the cost/price nosedive!!!

No, no, no. That won't do at all. What we need, instead of a cabal of "connected" insurance companies controlling our health care, is ONE insurance company, owned and operated by the state, controlling our health care. Go Team!

How does that square with socialism where the means of production are owned by the people.
That would be communism (held in common).

I get the confusing. It's deliberate so the fucking commies/Marxists can get their shit rammed through with everybody still trying to figure it all out.

You just re-started a 30-year duopoly war that will never go anywhere.
:laughing0301:

The state owns (stole) the means of production and distribution of the oil industry.

Any more questions?

Except that the "state" was owned by Chaves and a few wealthy oligarchs, so was not owned by the people, and it was not a democracy or socialism.
Socialism is where the people pool resources in order to create an industry, and then share profits.
Venezuela was where one set of wealthy elite oligarchs got replaces by another set.
That is totally and completely capitalism.
The only difference is that Chaves was at least smart enough to not claim he was a capitalist.

Medical insurance is totally and completely private, for profit, capitalism.
Insurance is where you jack up prices to high that no one can afford access without it.
So it is really just a capitalist monopoly.
The once you have forced people into prepaying, they no longer have any means of complaining or withholding payment is there is disagreement over quality or cost.

The only guilty by government is that the IRS allowed insurance companies to gain a hold in the late 50s by allowing a tax exemption for employer benefits to employees.
That should never have been allowed since it clearly discriminated against the poor who did not get any such benefits.

No, health care should have no connection to your income.
Insurance implies it is something you buy.
Health care should be something you simply are entitled to as a human being.

Exactly. It should fall from the sky like mana from heaven.

Back in the real world, health care is a service that someone else performs for you. How much servitude are you entitled to?

No, health care is bad luck that all people in society should share in the risk pool for.
It is like a fire, getting struck by lightning, or being attacked by criminals.
It is NOT something one person should be able to afford, save for, or go into debt.
Those who do not need health care should be paying for their luck.

If your house burns down, you need police to stop a thief, or the army prevents an invasion, should you be sent a bill for their services as well?

That is the whole entire point of society at all, to pool resources for unlikely events no one can pay for by themselves.
