Noam Chomsky: "Trump is a Political Genius"

Chomsky is the true genius ...

... making MILLIONS by proclaiming Capitalism (and Capitalists) are the most evil thing in the world ...

Truly, truly inspired.

He’s right. Trump accomplished a lot, but most of it was harmful to 90% of Americans. He talked like a populist, but ruled like a corporatist.

Just as the D Party claimed to be against everything Don promoted, but they then back stabbed their base by voting for Trump’s agenda.
What part of his agenda was harmful to Americans? Open borders? Tax increases? A booming economy?

The people of this country are solely responsible for the shit ho, we've all now live in....it got this way by ignoring white racist and allowing the white man to continue his supreme reign over everybody in this country. That beast has now morphed into killing cops, oppressing minorities and raging hell on politicians. Its only when the people of this nation tire of white rule, will we as a nation come to a full democracy, until then, its bow down to racist white mf's with guns.,
White supremacy is the root of all our problems.
It's hard for me to imagine how a country born in chattel slavery and genocide can fail to self-destruct at some point in time. There's no way of knowing when the spark will come, but there's little doubt the tender in stacked-up and ready for combustion.

The "public sector" is primarily a class of bureaucratic parasites....We should have been so lucky that he did away with those freebooters, who produce nothing that anyone wants to willingly buy.
Public sector contributions to society include public (not for profit) goods and services like the military, law enforcement, infrastructure including public roads, bridges, tunnels, water supply, sewers, electrical grids (think Texas), telecommunications, public transit, public education, Medicare...

Without the public sector capitalism doesn't exist since it is government that charters for-profit corporations which then bribe government for laws and institutions that spawn a class of billionaire parasites and their useful libertarian idiots.

RUSSIA!....and....PUTIN!

Thanks for sharing that, BlueAnon loon.

"Russians spent at least $98 million on Trump’s properties in Florida—and another third of the units were bought by shadowy shell companies."

Trump’s Russian Laundromat

Life-long Republican fixers Robert Mueller and Bill Barr no longer control the investigations into collusion between Trump and Russian gangsters; will you miss him?

Deflection from the point....It's a fucking throw-away boilerplate line and you know it
Using government 'to steal from the poor to give to the rich" is how many rich people have acquired unearned income to create their fortunes over the centuries.

The classical free market economists endorsed taxes on unearned income: land rent and natural resources, monopoly rent and financial privilege.

These categories of income have no counterpart in a cost of production undertaken by the rent recipient.

The more government can shift the tax burden onto land and property (stocks and bonds) the lower housing prices become and government will have less need to tax labor by income and sales taxes.

Chomsky is still an asshole, and always has been.
Who told you that?

Noam Chomsky - Wikipedia

"In his youth, Chomsky developed a dislike of capitalism and the pursuit of material wealth.[196]

"At the same time, he developed a disdain for authoritarian socialism, as represented by the Marxist–Leninist policies of the Soviet Union.[197]

"Rather than accepting the common view among U.S. economists that a spectrum exists between total state ownership of the economy and total private ownership, he instead suggests that a spectrum should be understood between total democratic control of the economy and total autocratic control (whether state or private).[198]

"He argues that Western capitalist countries are not really democratic,[199] because, in his view, a truly democratic society is one in which all persons have a say in public economic policy.[200]

"He has stated his opposition to ruling elites, among them institutions like the IMF, World Bank, and GATT (precursor to the WTO).["

What does Trump, Bush, Putin, or anyone else have to do with you being a goose-stepping communist shit and America NEVER being a socialist country....EVER???
Open your eyes.

Corporate Socialism and Hollowing of America | A Scientific Economic Paradigm Project

"Most people understand and assume that government income redistribution, where higher incomes are taxed and transferred to those with lower incomes, is a way of achieving greater income equality.

'But few people are aware of the extent of corporate socialism which is defined here as the transfer of capital, by government to corporations."

He didn't destroy any public sector. That's just more lies and obfuscation from a media that sends out more propaganda daily to the masses. A public that laps up this regurgitated stew as if it were nectar. Its mind blowing to watch this unfold.
The full extent of Trump's four year crime spree is only beginning to come into view since Republicans no longer control the levers of power in DC. Future generations will marvel at the gullibility of Trump supporters.

Opinion | Can Justice Finally Overtake Trump, Its Most Defiant Fugitive?

"We and others would invoke specific criminal statutes he violated frequently, such as the Hatch Act (using federal property and personnel for political campaign objectives) or the Anti-Deficiency Acts (spending much money strictly not appropriated by Congress) and other grave flouting of statutory and regulatory, mandates, scores of congressional subpoenas and major constitutional provisions.

"The news media did not regard Trump’s deep lawlessness as worthy of much reporting or editorializing. The excuse was 'Trump is just being Trump.'"

Id say the biggest govt lies are W's wars, O's wars, climate change, lying about the current vaccines.

Unions are not the property of the Democrat party, or even the Left.
There has been a switch.
Why aren't Unions protesting the importation of cheap foreign labour.
Why aren't they protesting against the Globalists and international financiers.
From roughly 1930 through 1980 union dues allowed Democrats to win against Republican corporate money. During that half-century about one in three US workers were members of unions.

By 1990 union membership (and dues) had shrunk to such an extent that Democrats had to begin taking more corporate funds (health care and finance as opposed to fossil fuels) in order to win against Republicans.

Democrats and neoliberalism

He also believes Trumpybear is the worst criminal in human history, so there's that.
If Trump turns out to be "too big to jail", will capitalism transcend democracy in the US?

Socialism for the Rich, Capitalism for the Poor: An Interview With Noam Chomsky

"Noam Chomsky: Consider this: Every time there is a crisis, the taxpayer is called on to bail out the banks and the major financial institutions.

"If you had a real capitalist economy in place, that would not be happening.

"Capitalists who made risky investments and failed would be wiped out.

"But the rich and powerful do not want a capitalist system.

"They want to be able to run the nanny state so when they are in trouble the taxpayer will bail them out.

"The conventional phrase is 'too big to fail.'"

What would inspire one of the most radical US leftists and arguably the leading intellectual light of his age to give the devil his due and warn against conflating Trump's antics with his accomplishments?

Genius is something you have never been called or will ever be called.

Because he refused to comply with congressional subpoenas and placed loyal Republicans in key investigative positions, most of Trump's lies are still hidden; that will not be the case much longer. If he goes to prison (or Russia) will you still support him?
