'No Separation Of Church And State': Trump's Religious Liberty Commission Reveals Its Priorities

You’re claiming there’s no Separation of Church and State, right?
We are saying that concept does not exist as constitutional.

It is a bastardization of the 1st Amendment.

Congress shall make no laws........

Neither have you. I’m not the one making a claim against precedent.
Yes you are.

We prayed in schools for 175 years.

We had state run religions for almost 50 years after the constitution went into effect.

Where is your precedent for this long standing doctrine.

Answer: It does not exist.

MAGA seems to think differently.
We said the concept does not exist as stated in the constitution.

You can't produce it.

I already showed where Clarence Thomas says state sponsored religions could exist constitutionally.

He trumps your know-nothing ass.

It’s had to be interpreted from the start, hence “living document”.
The current SCOTUS has a majority of judges who operate on the concept of original intent.

There is no living document that adapts to today's world.

Any judge, like Sotomeyer, who interprets it that way should be removed.

The Constitution says very little. Most interpretations are found in case law.
In a series of two decisions known as the School Prayer Cases, the Supreme Court famously held that the Establishment Clause forbids state-sponsored prayer in public schools—even where the government provides opt-outs for dissenters. Yet subsequent legal developments have rendered those decisions unstable.

It always comes home to mama (sensibility).

The cries of the left and their efforts to remove all religion from the public arena are going to fail.

The Constitution is short and succinct. The Founders made it difficult to change it. It is not a living document at all by your definition.
It is a living document. The Founders left a lot of wiggle room, because they realized times change.
