no holocaust in Gaza, huh?

Then why do you never tell that to Billo, who constantly compares Israelis to Nazis.
I said there are similarities.

The scapegoating
The propaganda
The acceptance of violence
Treating them like they're sub-human
Laws that make them 2nd class citizens
Ethnically cleansing them from the area
That shit is all Goebbels's 101.

It's not the Holocaust, it's the years leading up to it.

But if it will make you feel better, no, the Israeli's are not as bad as the Nazis.

Happy now?

Yes, for it's more clear when I see you say it out.

I see Coyote's found her new Sunni Man.

The Palestinians who are citizens of Israel wish to stay for some reason.

There are inequities - even Israeli's themselves have addressed it. Most recently in a well reported case of brutal attack on a Palestinian by Israeli youth that led to a discussion questioning what kind of society Israel wanted to be and what attitudes were being encouraged in their young. You can bury it, and pretend it doesn't exist or that it's justified in some way but it's this kind of rhetoric that leads to a cultural acceptance of brutality.

Is it "like" Nazi Germany?
No.

Is it "like" a holocaust?
no.

Is it genocide?
no.

But it is the acceptance of that kind of speech that leads to injustice and to people regarding certain groups as subhuman and that can make it easier to justify barbaric behavior. Look at how some will justify targeting children. They're no longer looked at as human beings.

See post above about Goebbels's 101. The post you thanked.

Israeli Arabs: We Do Not Want to Live in Palestinian State 2014

It is much easier for Palestinians to accuse Israel of racism than to admit they do not want to be part of a Palestinian state.

"This is an imaginary proposal that relates to the Arabs as if they were chess pieces that could be moved around according to the wish of the players." — Ahmed Tibi, Member of Knesset.

If the Arab Knesset members are so worried about becoming citizens of a Palestinian state, they should be working toward integration into, and not separation from, Israel, and listening more to their constituents rather than the voices of Fatah and Hamas.

Renewed talk of land swaps between Israel and a future Palestinian state has left many Israeli Arabs worried about losing their status as citizens of Israel.

^Member of Knesset Ahmed Tibi yells from the Knesset podium about swaps meaning Palestinians may lose their Israeli Citizenship.

Another poll by Professor Sammy Smooha of the University of Haifa showed that three-quarters of Israeli Arabs believe Arab representatives should deal with daily issues and not the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Billo is right, its the years leading up to it, this is Germany in about 1934.

I think the Palestinians in Israel want to stay because its their land! No one left willingly.

AND I think Ropey's right, too. The Palestinians inside Israel realize their role and that the ball is somewhat in their court. I am going to do a post on this!!

Well, they sure want to retain their Israeli citizenship since they already own the land they've bought even if it is swapped.

Maybe - maybe not. They do have a more representative and responsive government, a judicial system that is far less corrupt than it's neighboring nations, a culture that values human rights and a greater degree of religious freedom and security than any other country in the ME currently.

15th post
Billo and Amity, amongst others, have wiped the 1948 War from history, so any discussion is moot.

You thanked it.

You stand to the connection he is making.

Posts get thanked for many reasons Ropey.
Think on it.

Oh, so you thanked it and don't agree with it.

Think on that.

Again, I explained myself in post 146.

I agreed with the points Billo made. Billo was right in terms of the effect such rhetoric has and what it can lead to.

Billo was absolutely right in that.

And once again, you interpret your own view (and Billo's) to be right in the connection he makes to Nazi Germany and Israel and those designs of propaganda.

And say it's correct.

I state my opinion and believe me Coyote, after all these years, I understand why you thanked Billo.

:)

^It's Goebbels 101.
