Hey, the car looks to have fared a lot worse than the bike! At least the bike hung on and had it not caught the light, might have killed the driver in the drop.

What I found most interesting is that the reporter in Canada reporting this was Sarbraj Singh Kahlon, sounds like a muslim name to me, not french-canadian.

I see two, maybe three paths for the driver coming off that bike, and none of them are good.

1. Most likely, he went straight (flat angle) over the handlebars as the bike flipped up behind him.

2. He was flung off (low angle) mid-flight just as the bike flipped upwards (most survivable)

3. He held on long enough to be thrown straight up (vertical angle).

The car and bike are too close in distance for the car to have just been like a ramp. I'd max bet that the bike was summersalthing after impact.

To me, anyone who survives a motorcycle accident is lucky. My mom lost a friend to one back in the 70s. His funeral was just days before Christmas.
