If Newt loses by 15 in FL, its tough slogging ahead. If he loses by 5, he's still in it.

Well, a couple of things. The first being that the Prop 8 campaign, which the Mormons paid for 70% of even though they only make up 2% of California's population, was rife with dishonesty.

The ironic thing is that because of the way it was worded AND Judge Walker's ruling, it is very likely that the 9th Circuit will uphold Walker's ruling, legalizing it not only for California, but perhaps Utah as well. How about that for irony?


Also, I reject your characterization of "bigotry" on the basis that it is no bigotry to evaluate and judge silly beliefs. Silly beliefs do not become less silly because you dress them up in vestments and call them religion.

Assuming that you are being honest when you say you aren't a Mormon, you don't think Joseph Smith was talking to God any more than I do. So why do you treat the notion that he was like it is something sacred. If he wasn't talking to God, he was lying. If he was lying, then his religion is a lie. It's logically just that simple.

And if Mitt Romney doesn't have the intelligence to realize it's a lie, I don't want to give him nuclear weapons for 4 years.
