Newt has a 60% unfavorability rate

ROMNEY DOES NOT BELIEVE IN FEDERAL MANDATED HEALTHCARE!

He doesn't even support what happened to what was put place in MA!

So you are lying that he is going to keep Obamacare.

Ok....cop.:cuckoo:

Wake the **** up he says he will now because he thinks that's what the republican base want to hear. Wake the **** up .

How can you believe a person who has support one thing and for political expedience says something totally different?

Any so-called GOPer here claiming Romney will keep Obama's economic and foreign policy strategies in place is a fraud GOPer.

Will it matter when you are picked up and held without charge? No worries the government wont tell your family.

Watching how the GOP is acting is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. And knowing that it's going to happen before the train leaves the station.

Why has Romney not come out and said it was wrong for his grandfather to have 5 wives?

Yeah, Obamination won't bring up Newt's 90s past to rile up libs and moderates. :cuckoo:

He won't throw out Newt's left-wing words with Pelosi and gang to piss off the GOP base.

He won't use Ron Paul's kook conspiracy and foreign policy beliefs against the backwoods Texan.

He won't play up Santorm is a nobody that couldn't win his own Senate seat back in PA.

Why should he? The Republican Establishment has made it clear that Romney is going to be the nominee whether the rank and file wants him or not. They figure we are all going to hate Obama so much, we'll go along with Obama-Lite without a complaint. And they'll be wrong. Romney will get less votes than John McCain did.

But it was never about winning, anyway. It was about not letting the TEA Party become ascendant.

Obamination won because he was the "hip black" choice over the crusty white guy with the ditzy white chick from Alaska.

Romney can sleepwalk to victory given Obamination has proven he only won the election based on being black, that's it.

Also, Romney won't pick an airhead sidekick like Palin that became a lightning rod for libs like the Newt.

Uh, supporting a "state" level plan in a liberal state YEARS AGO is not the same as supporting a Federal level plan today.

States have the right to do whatever they like in our system as long as it doesn't violate Federal law. So if a state wants state wide healthcare and the Federal laws don't state it is illegal.....that state can do it.

So the man has no backbone or principle........

I agree.

While it isnt the same it did prove the man will not stand on principle. FACT!!

If you are going to trivialize Obma's victory, you are setting yourself up for another one.

Obama didn't win because he was "hip".

He won because the economy was in free fall, we were stuck in two wars that had gone on for way too long, and we watched our government sit there impotently while a major city got washed out to sea. Obama won because of Bush. McCain and Palin did the best they could, but the Titanic had already hit the iceberg..

Romney's got a tough road to hoe. He's got to get everyone who voted for McCain to vote for him. Some of those people have died because McCain's demographic skewed a lot older than Obama's. Others like myself simply will not vote for the guy. Then he has to convince at least 5 million folks who voted for Obama last time to vote for him this time.

When was the last time you got someone to admit they made a mistake?

Now, on top of all of that, Romney's also got

1) A crazy religion that is going to creep people out when they start to learn about the weirder aspects of it.
2) A lot of broken families and lives in the wake of his business success.
3) A wonderful habit of saying bizarre stuff like "I like to be able to fire people"

Obamination won because he was the "hip black" choice over the crusty white guy with the ditzy white chick from Alaska.

Get a clue, a GOPer can believe a state can run itself one way but the Federal Govt doesn't have the right to make that law across all states given Federal laws are not violated i.e. civil rights, etc.

States can require you to have car insurance to drive a car, so in reality they should be able to force someone to buy health insurance if the majority of citizens in that state vote for it. It is ludicrous people don't spend a dime on healthcare insurance but have expensive cars, TVs, game systems, etc....only demanding others pay for their emergency room care bill when they get hurt/sick.:cuckoo:

First having traveled from coast to coast I can say both parties have opposite views of an issue depending on what side of the country you are on.

Now Romney was opposed to the bill but signed it.

Do you understand what principle is?

Wow....you've traveled across the USA.

I've lived in all time zones between California and North Carolina.

People in California (from living there 6 years) are different than people in North Carolina (lived there too). Ditto for Colorado, Illinois, Florida, etc.

So if people in California want to mandate state wide healthcare....do it. If people in NC would go nuts over state wide healthcare, then don't do it.

Romney understands this basic concept....

LOL....Romney's anti-Newt commercial just played on FOXNews.....using NBC News' broadcast from the 90s talking about Newt's ethics charges....

Oh, I'm sure Democrats have hours of this on tape.

So what was worse, exactly.

Newt paying a fine for not filing the right paperwork on a college course.

Or Bain-owned Damon Medical paying a record 109 million fine for defrauding medicare?

You're too dumb to figure it out.

Lets get to the point shall we.

You support a man that is big government. You support a man that will not stand on principle.

Why?
