Personally I think that anyone who is worried that they "might not make it to heaven" doesn't yet understand salvation. If someone who is not yet a Christian thinks that way....then I agree with those who said that that's actually a good thing. Because it shows that they have a desire to go to Heaven. And it could indicate that someone is concerned about their true spiritual condition, and is starting to realize their need for the Savior. (I'm not saying that's the case with Trump, just speaking in general here.)
