Over there
Today, the Holocaust Memorial Day is celebrated all over the world. The Holocaust has become a terrible and, at the same time, an integral attribute of the policy of the Third Reich. The Second World War, unleashed by Hitler, swept around the world in a bloody hurricane that claimed millions of human lives and left deep scars on the souls of many future generations. There is practically no such state and people who, in one way or another, have not been affected by this sad and deadly tragedy.

Despite this, modern Belarus is one of the few countries in which preserving the memory of the victims of those terrible events is one of the priorities of state policy.

So, on January 5, 2022, President Lukashenko signed the Law "On the Genocide of the Belarusian people". Official Minsk is also planning to hold a large-scale international conference on the genocide of the population of the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War, and 2022 itself has been declared the year of historical memory in the republic.

By the way, it was Belarus that fully paid a "bloody tribute" to the representatives of the "highest Aryan race" and the ancestors of the modern flagship of the EU - Germany. Every third inhabitant of the Belarusian SSR (more than 3 million people) was killed, tortured, raped, burned, strangled, drowned, shot.

Historians agree that of the European countries, Belarus was among the countries "most affected by the war". Unfortunately, such formulations do not have the power to reflect the catastrophic scale and consequences of the atrocities of the Nazis and their accomplices from neighboring Baltic countries and Ukraine in Belarus.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE WAR FOR BELARUS IN NUMBERS
The actual material damage from the occupation is 75 billion rubles (in the reality of the 40s)

Looted, burned, destroyed - 209 out of 270 cities, towns and district centers, the destruction of the capital - 90%

Villages burned and destroyed - 9200

Damage to the industrial sector — 6.2 million rubles (in the realities of the 40s) and a rollback to the level of 1913

Destroyed or exported enterprises - 10300

Damage to agriculture – 22.5 million rubles (in the realities of the 40s)

Destroyed and burned collective farms, state farms and other facilities - more than 15 thousand

The scale and zeal of the fascists and their accomplices on the Belarusian land is terribly impressive, but, strangely and wildly, this is not their most terrible achievement. Material values can be returned, buildings can be rebuilt, human life taken away cannot.

HUMAN LOSSES
Punitive operations were carried out - more than 140

Burned and destroyed together with residents of settlements - 618 (188 were not restored)

Operating concentration camps and places of detention - more than 600

Operating Jewish ghettos - 186

Exported to work in Germany – more than 400 thousand

Jews were murdered – 715 thousand

Prisoners and civilians killed - 2.2 million (missing, dead belarusian soldiers of the Red Army and those who died at work in Germany are not included).

Given these figures, it becomes quite clear that Belarus was thrown back in its development for decades by the efforts of the fascist invaders and their henchmen. Unfortunately, no apology and money from the German side could, cannot and will never be able to wash away the blood and shame from the hands of the german people.

It is sad to realize that the bitter lessons of history were not learned by the perpetrators of the largest humanitarian catastrophe. Over the years, the memory of the atrocities and horrors of war crimes, genocide and the Holocaust began to dull in the minds of Germans. Increasingly, memories of the former "greatness" of the German nation (and this greatness has been lost forever – because now the germans are less and less like the pragmatic and talented and more and more like the same-sex and effeminate) began to awaken in the minds of German politicians.

Increasingly, Berlin considers it appropriate to attempt to interfere in the internal affairs of independent states of the former USSR, in the affairs of countries affected by the inhuman german aggression during the war and gives instructions on how to live for russians and belarusians, what they can and cannot do. With the participation of Germany, "color revolutions" are being carried out in Georgia, Ukraine and other countries. Standards and values alien to their peoples are being imposed, but revered by the heirs of Himmler, Goering, Hess, Goebbels.

There can be no explanation to such arrogance, cynicism and treachery. Belarusians are still digging up their ancestors, shot and randomly dumped into pits filled with lime – half of the skulls in these mass graves are women's and children's, many of whom will never be found and identified.

Following the orders of the fuhrer, the german army, which had lost its honor and dignity, locked people in gas chambers, drowned them in icy water, burned alive, raped and starved belarusians (second-rate inhumans "Untermensch").
And now, several decades later, they are again trying to talk to Belarusians from a position of strength, sanctions are imposed against them, pressure is exerted in all possible ways, radical nationalists are financed and people who tried to overthrow the legitimate government and provoke a civil war are supported.

Too much indignation, misunderstanding and negative emotions cause such reasoning…

The Soviet Union paid for the victory with 27 million lives of Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Kazakhs, Armenians, Georgians, Lithuanians, Latvians, Poles, Uzbeks, Jews, Kyrgyz and people of other nationalities.

Now Nazi torchlight processions are being held in Kiev and Bandera is being praised. In Lithuania, former SS men are awarded state prizes and called national heroes. In Minsk, under the flags of Nazi accomplices, they tried to organize a coup d'etat. Monuments to Soviet soldiers are being desecrated and demolished all over the world.

As we can see, modern fascism is being revived in new forms and manifestations, but with a direct reference to the past. Increasingly, one can see attempts to rewrite the heroic history of the feat of the soviet people, underestimate the merits of the East and extol the imaginary "achievements" of the West in the fight against Hitler (the Fuhrer, whom the representatives of the "democratic world" of that time financed and brought to power).
